abercrombie kids // 2022 pride collection

customer and purpose

our 2022 abercrombie kids pride collection was centered around the mantra that 'being comfy is about more than clothes.' we envisioned creating a collection that empowered and energized kids and their families to be comfy with being who they are and with each other.

the items designed in this collection are gender-neutral as part of our everybody collection. additionally this was a collaboration with the A&F adults brand, as well as co-created with the trevor project.

DESIGN DIRECTION:

each year, our pride design captains are responsible for bringing this incredible collection to life by staying true to the cause and honing in on the product that best represents the mission of the trevor project, all while injecting elements of trend. the direction was to keep this very tight, optimistic and emotional, from the mantra, to the keith haring licensing, to the color palette and pattern, to the gender neutral items. additionally, throughout the development process, we were in lock-step with the trevor project to ensure alignment with their organization’s mission for the LGBTQ community.
